2023-2024 spring semester classes
Schedule change requests will begin Monday, December 11th. Scholars may request to change their classes up until Tuesday, January 9th. The scheduling team will not be working on requests during the winter break (December 20-January 3). If you need assistance, you can sign-up for an appointment with our guidance counselor here or you can email [email protected].
To request a schedule change, please check the master schedule below for high school and prep school. Click here to submit your schedule change request.
You will receive an email from the scheduling team when your change request has been granted or if has been denied and the reason.
PLEASE READ:
1. If you request a class and it's full, you will be placed onto a waiting list. If a spot become available, you will receive an email when you've been put into the class.
2. If you request a change and the class that you want to drop is needed for graduation, you will need to specify in the comments what you will be doing to earn that credit.

Tips for Choosing Your Classes
All scholars should submit TWO schedule requests for each semester. Seniors will receive first priority on schedule requests, then juniors and so on. The scheduling team will do their best to accommodate all requests, but classes will fill up and scholars will be placed into classes based upon credit need and/or class availability.
Seminar Classes: Every scholar at Paradigm is required to take ONE seminar class.
For High School scholars, seminar is a two-period class that is held on either A or B day and each seminar class is grade specific (Online Seminar is available for 9th-12th).
For Prep School scholars, seminar is a one-period class that is held every day (A and B day).
For those that are new to Paradigm, seminar is a discussion-based class that will focus on a reading-intensive curriculum. More information is included in the Course Catalog 2023-24.
ALL Scholars: All scholars will need to take a Kedge Time class. This class is similar to a homeroom. More info can be found in our Course Catalog 2023-24.
For 7th & 8th Grade Scholars: Along with seminar, your scholar will need to take a math class (one class period, every day) and a science class (grade specific, one period every other day). The rest of your scholar's schedule can be filled with any of the electives. We ask that your scholar take a variety of elective classes for the entire year and not repeat any elective classes.
For 9th-12th Grade Scholars: The rest of your scholar's schedule can be filled with other requirements for graduation. For returning Paradigm scholars, you can log into your Aspire account to check your College and Career Plan for graduation requirements. For new Paradigm scholars in 10th-12th grade, it is best to have a transcript from your previous school on hand so that you know what your scholar has already completed.
