2023-2024 class schedule requests
Class scheduling for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on the following dates for the following grades:
12th Grade: June 8-12, 2023
11th and 8th Grades: June 13-15, 2023
10th and 7th Grades: June 16-21, 2023 (no scheduling on Monday, June 19th)
9th Grade: June 22-23, 2023
We suggest that you start planning out your scholar's schedule so that when we send the email on your corresponding scheduling day, you are ready to go! You will want to plan out two versions. We have attached a paper version that you can print out and fill-in to help you get ready.
You will receive an email on the following days with an updated master schedule (we will block out classes that have filled up and are no longer available) and a link to submit your scholar's schedule request.
If you need help creating your schedule, we have created a Calendly with appointment times available. If you need help creating your scholar's schedule or if you have questions about graduation requirements (9th-12th), please sign-up for an appointment. All of these appointments on the Calendly are for Zoom appointments. You will be emailed a Zoom link a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you need to make an appointment for an in-person meeting, please email scheduling@paradigmschools.org.
If your scholar is a 10th, 11th or 12th grader and you need to know what credits they need for graduation, you can email us and we would be happy to send you a copy of your scholar's Credit Evaluation. You can also access the "College and Career Plan" in your Aspire account if you are a returning scholar. If you are new to Paradigm, you can view our graduation requirements in the course catalog and we would recommend having a copy of your transcript from your previous school with you when creating your schedule.
Registration is scheduled for Tuesday August 1st and Wednesday August 2nd. Scholars will be able to pick up their class schedule, Chromebook, Paradigm sweater and more during registration. More information will be sent out in July.

Tips for Choosing Your Classes
All scholars should submit TWO schedule requests for each semester. Seniors will receive first priority on schedule requests, then juniors and so on. The scheduling team will do their best to accommodate all requests, but classes will fill up and scholars will be placed into classes based upon credit need and/or class availability.
Seminar Classes: Every scholar at Paradigm is required to take ONE seminar class.
For High School scholars, seminar is a two-period class that is held on either A or B day and each seminar class is grade specific (Online Seminar is available for 9th-12th).
For Prep School scholars, seminar is a one-period class that is held every day (A and B day).
For those that are new to Paradigm, seminar is a discussion-based class that will focus on a reading-intensive curriculum. More information is included in the Course Catalog 2023-24.
ALL Scholars: All scholars will need to take a Kedge Time class. This class is similar to a homeroom. More info can be found in our Course Catalog 2023-24.
For 7th & 8th Grade Scholars: Along with seminar, your scholar will need to take a math class (one class period, every day) and a science class (grade specific, one period every other day). The rest of your scholar's schedule can be filled with any of the electives. We ask that your scholar take a variety of elective classes for the entire year and not repeat any elective classes.
For 9th-12th Grade Scholars: The rest of your scholar's schedule can be filled with other requirements for graduation. For returning Paradigm scholars, you can log into your Aspire account to check your College and Career Plan for graduation requirements. For new Paradigm scholars in 10th-12th grade, it is best to have a transcript from your previous school on hand so that you know what your scholar has already completed.
